How do I clean and maintain my bullet-resistant backpack?
How do I clean and maintain my bullet-resistant backpack?
To preserve the integrity of the ballistic materials, BP Defence backpacks are spot-clean only. NEVER place your backpack in a washing machine or dryer, as this can severely damage the ballistic panels and water-resistant coatings.
- To clean: Use lukewarm water, a mild soap (free of harsh additives or fragrances), and a soft nylon brush (like a toothbrush). Brush very gently.
- To dry: Hang the bag indoors or in the shade. Avoid direct sunlight, as prolonged UV exposure can degrade the ballistic fabric.
- Zippers: Gently brush away fine dirt or sand as needed, but avoid hard scrubbing to protect the water-resistant coating on the zipper tracks.
